LAS QUE HABITAN EN MI

This project, developed within the Master’s in Artistic Photography, explores the coexistence of female archetypes within a single person, shifting away from the external gaze to investigate the internal construction of identity. Inspired by Cindy Sherman’s Untitled Film Stills, but with an introspective approach, the series represents seven archetypes—The Mother, The Maiden, The Lover, The Rebel, The Artist, The Wise Woman, and The Mystic—each embodied in two images that interact through light and shadow. The series concludes with a self-portrait that unifies them, reaffirming the inherent duality of each facet. Framed within the visual language of black and white and a vertical format that alludes to the fragmentation of identity on social media, the project questions how we inhabit ourselves and construct our image in different spaces of representation.
